if a customer steps over the boundary of acceptable behavior of a customer, than they risk the server doing the same. that hardly equates to the server having a bad night.

I worked drive-thru a few nights and had some drinks thrown at me. My ninja reflexes allowed me to evade the danger.

Customer service is tough at the best of times, working a busing restaurant seems like it would be very difficult. I've worked busy bars and thats tough. |

Not leaving a tip steps over the imaginary line of acceptable behavior? What if the lady in question brought the food home for her kids and when rubbed in garbage, perhaps some salmonella poisoning occured. That is the price to pay if you don't leave a $5 tip?

That is the only thing I have ever done to anyone. I threw her food away because she left and blamed me for the cost of something. I know if I had the balls to write that on the ticket and forgot my food I wouldnt even go back in there.... I also Bought a guy a steak and took it to his work because he spilled his drink all over it and didnt want to cause to much trouble to have a new one cooked.....his ticket was $10 and he left $8. I had a new one cooked and when I got off went to Walmart (He had the shirt on) and gave it to him....money out of my pocket to make sure he was happy......just because he over tipped me.......See if you treat us right we will go above and beyond to make you happy.....which he was..... By the way if you tip crap and keep coming in there the servers get wise on it......Im just saying. Not that they will harm your food, but your service will reflect in your non tip..... |

I once had a horrible server who brought me 3 re-fills at once. I got so pissed that he wouldnt come back to my table. Me and my wife was served by the manger and the the meal was comp'd, the manager said it was coming out of the waitors pay. Asshole should have lost his job.

I cant believe people are on here admiting to spitting in and doing other nasty stuff to peoples food. that is disgusting and cowardly. What gives you the right to mess with peoples food even if they are assholes or dont tip? The customer is not obligated to tip or act in a certain manner which makes it easy for the server. What if that person gets sick and dies because you disgusting people are putting stuff in their food? Thats why I perfer going to the grocery store and cooking over going out to eat, because of digusting pieces of shit messing with peoples food. Not only would i sue that restaraunt out of business, word cant describe what i would do to a person who spit in my food.
