I've got a small box of cards that I keep in my closet. They range from baseball to basket ball to football. I mainly just get cards for players or teams that i like and usually only try to get cards that i know will be worth something in the future like rookie cards or jersey cards. I have a lot of Michael Jordan cards and other Chicago rookies.

First I was big into baseball from 1989-mid 90's then basketball after that. Every now and then I'll pick up some basketball cards to see if I get anything good like a Lebron etc...I got tons of tons of old cards, some organized some in shoe boxes etc..

I used to buy baseball cards, but don't any more. I just buy Chicago Cubs cards, favorite players, autographed cards, game used cards things like that. but just to buy a pack I've not done that in about 3 yrs.

I will occasionally buy a team package. Never got that into cards. I remember buying butt loads of them and one day realizing that there is really nothing to do with them.

Yeah, i realized that too. Not a lot of people willing to buy them. But if you collect for nostalgic puposes, they are priceless...

I love this song! And I love it more when amateurs sing the lyrics! But I hate baseball cards.

My first job was in my uncle's card shop, so that's where I got into them. It really only lasted a few years. Before that, I only did the Marvel cards and a few different types of Star Wars. (I have an entire set of the first Star Wars ccg series that were released. They're pretty much the most valuable cards I own.) But I got really big into baseball cards. I got rid of most of them when I lost interest, though. I only kept my Cal Ripken rookie, my ARod rookie and my signed derek Jeter rookie cards...and my Cal Ripken Jr. Lumberjack, which was in the first pack of sports cards I opened. I just have a hard time justifying any card collecting anymore. Some of them are 10 bucks a pack, or more! I can't see that happening. |

grew out of baseball and cards when I was like 10. looking to sell all my sports cards but don't know where to go. thought about getting back into hockey cards recently but decided to stick w/ pucks instead......at least they can knock a person unconscious with relatively little effort.
only cards I want to keep are my collections of Emmit Smith and Shaq rookie cards. |
