I've been a little depressed over the fact that my oldest sister and some of my friends have gotten engaged. And other friends have found boyfriends/girlfriends. I'm single. Still.
The last two guys I was sorta close to failed. One didn't have any brains to let me down gently and instead lied about not receiving my calls, and then sent me an e-mail where he yelled at me about not getting the hint he was interested. (Of course, his favorite movie is "Debbie Does Dallas"...I knew this wasn't going to end well.) The other had too much emotional baggage and...well, I don't think I want to go into what happened. So now there's this new guy. We work at the same place, but not in the same area (Which would complicate things) and well, he's nice to me. The problem is, growing up and even now, guys haven't been nice to me and it's hard to tell if they like me or if they're just being nice. Other guys...well, I've had my eye on one, but I think I'd rather be friends. And finding love here...there's nothing to do here (I don't do bars), most of the guys I'm in plays with are either too young or married dads, and I'm not going to waste money on dating services. So I just don't know why I haven't gotten guys interested in me. Do I look horrible? Is it because I'm afraid to talk to people as I don't want to say something stupid? Or is it just that they're too afraid and/or shallow? http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v1...s/DSCN2981.jpg P.S. I don't want anyone to answer with "I'm sure you'll find someone", as I feel that if they did, why the hell don't they just introduce them to me?!

I've looked at my church bulletins, and there is NOTHING for singles. I could ask if they would plan something, but I wouldn't know who'd be in charge.

Eh, never had much luck finding someone at the library. However, I have heard of POF, but they delete profiles if they don't think it's working. :(
Older guys...I have trouble telling who's around my age or if they're already taken.

I say take the initiative and start a singles group at your church. If you get yourself out in the public and meeting people then it's really not hard to find someone who is interested in you.
