I just have quick question, are you allowed to where cargo pants? The reason I ask is,when I worked at target years ago, I had a ap tell me,they we're against dress code. I found that funny because me and many of the people that worked there wore cargo pants. I worked at this target for a solid year before ap decided they didn't want us wearing them. The first time the ap guy told me not to wear them anymore, I asked him why and he told me they we're against dress code. I told him "since when? when I was hired I was told beige cargo pants was acceptable though they prefer actual khaki's" he said "just don't wear them anymore". After that I asked the h.r. and she told me that she didn't know of any dresscode violation for wearing cargo pants,I even asked another one of the ap guys and he said he don't see a problem with me wearing cargo pants. So I continued to wear them. A couple weeks later the same asshole ap guy come running up to me yelling about my pants, threatning to fire me. I told him "unless I'm stealing or damaging merchindise you can't fire me" he went and got a manager, the manager said that I had to go home and change my pants or buy a pair of khaki's out of the store,I told her "unless you are paying for them, I won't be buying any pants out of the store and if I leave,I won't be coming back" they couldn't afford to let me leave because they we're short staffed,so they needed me to stay. That's when the ap asshole jump in and said"he don't want us wearing cargo pants because we can put stolen merchindise in the side pockets" so I took out my box cutter and sliced the pockets open and asked him "are you happy now?". I wore my pants with the pockets hanging for the next 4 months. It pissed him off every time he saw me....so is that the policy now or was he full of shit like I think he was?

Hey now, Target is the only local store that even remotely gets anything new Joe related lately!

That contributed to the conversation.
I go to Target all the time and I see people wearing them all the time. Sounds to be like he has a Napoleon complex and was trying to be a big man.

I don't know what this dudes problem was, its like he had somthing against the stockroom people. Can't speak for anyone else but I know I never stole anything or acted suspicious for him to act that way towards me. I wouldn't even take from the bags of candy that the managers would rip open and markdown, basically stealing.

I use to see and know all kinds of shady acts at that target. Never paticipated and never told.
