okay everyone, post your classics that you own or your favorites that you've owned. Hotrods, Antique, Custom, they are all welcome here!
My current project is a 1961 Triumph Herald 1200 Saloon with 45000 original miles. Rare color and Left Hand Drive which they made less of for Canada/USA. It tops out at a whopping 71 mph! LOL This is the second time I have owned this car. The first time was in 1989 and I sold it in 1990 when I joined the Air Force. It was sold again to guy who lived about an hour away. It came up for sale in 2005 in the paper, I went to inspect it, and BAM...it was my old car! I bought it back and it is currently 100% disassembled down to the frame. The frame has been rebuilt (it was rusty), and I have all new parts. The engine is being rebuilt which means, I have a bit of body work to do and a replica original paint job and I'm driving it again, WOOHOO! I am about $3500 away from a complete restore and then I will be taking my little "Clown Car" to all the Chicagoland shows.

I have 2
The one my wife calls the "Mistress" is a 2003 MINI Cooper S It's my daily driver but I've put more into than I should I also have had it to the track a few times. My never ending project is a 1966 Lincoln Continental hardtop. The body is in good shape, I have rewired (modernized) the entire car, then bought a house so she has been sitting for a little while. I'm deploying for a year so hopefully when I return I'll have some extra $$ to put into her |

I love the new camaro, mustang, and charger but I think the challenger is by far the best retro new car that's been released so far!
