Anyone heard of this band?
I saw them on SNL last Saturday and was very impressed, so I bought their latest album from itunes... I love it. It reminds me if Beck, Sigur Ros, and Mars Volta all had a baby, and it likes to dance. |

I must have missed them.
Have a link for their music? I can't get over that Muse song from the Watchmen trailer. Such a hypnotizing song... |

As for TV on the Radio, if you have itunes, you can preview 30 seconds of each song in the store. I'm still new to them, so I don't know what's really out there. The song they played on SNL was "Golden Age." They played a second one, but I wasn't in the room at the time. |

yes, but SNL was crap...the sound was terrible. they were on Colbert Monday and it was much better.
TV on the Radio: "Dancing Choose" and Interview (Live on the Colbert Report) I've been into them since mid 2004...shortly after the first LP. I've seen them 3 times up to now. You should definitely check out Return to Cookie Mountain (cookie mountain being a Super Mario World SNES reference supposedly). I'm into Muse as well...only seen them once.

I had the chance to see Muse back in 2005, but the group of friends that had an extra ticket were all drunk as hell, so I didn't feel too keen on driving down to Indy with them.
The sound on SNL is always crap... you'd think they'd know that by now. I guess since this is my thread about my favorite music, I'll throw these names out: Calexico, Devotchka, and Gogol Bordello... other favorites of mine. |

I saw Muse in 2007. Some of my favorites are the Cure, Depeche Mode, Joy Division, NIN, TV on the Radio, Radiohead, Ours, A Place to Bury Strangers, Feeder, Mellowdrone, Black Lab, among others...

Gogol Bordello! Yeah! Love those guys. Check out a song called "Viva Discordia" by That Handsome Devil. I think you'd dig it.

Radio stations played them here in Los Angeles about 3 years ago. They had a song, ("Wolf Like Me") that got some decent airplay.
