the 200X line to anime-ish? That 200X line was WAY better sculpts because they were in 1) scale. These are all the same size...lame. The detail on the 200X line is MUCH better than these. Just because they stay "true to the original desgon" doesn't mean that is a good thing. You obviously do not own any or the stactions. they are just about perfect and don't look corny and cartoon-ish like these new ones do.

Mattel said they will reissue the core characters with a minor change. Like the card, accessories, or paint apps.
I have bought all (& multiples) of the MOTUC figures & they are BEYOND awesome, if you are patient, Mattel will have the figures you need available again. [I]But it will be a while... |

They need to do a full launch of He-Man... cartoons, retail, etc. Mattel stock is in the dumps. They can't rely on Barbie to maintain revenues. I think Hasbro is doing such a better job of managing their brands.
Does anyone know how long USPS shipping takes from Mattel? I ordered a Skeletor from them over a week ago but I still haven't gotten it. |

I ordered a couple of Skeletor figures on the 15th and got them on the 31st last week. Not sure if everyone has an average of near two week delivery or not. The worst part about it was the mail man left it on the steps right underneath where the water is dripping from a gutter. The damn box was frozen to the step, but luckily the figures were free from water or any other kind of damage.

Guys, you have to buy the figure around the 15th if you want them. There are plenty available. The problem is if you wait. They will have plenty of Fakers on March 15th as well.

The stuff from NYCC is looking great so far. Can't wait to see the Teela when she's all finished up. Last edited by darthfoley; 02-07-2009 at 07:11 PM.. |

I think what is really bothering people about collecting these is the limited availabilty ,they are hard to come by and if you miss ordering them when they are for sale online ,the scalpers are all to anxious rubbing their greedy little hands wanting you to fork out unreasonable amounts of money for them ,i'm sorry but $50-70 bucks for Beastman or He Man is plain ridiculous ,they only came out a few months ago ..fuck me ..the world has gone mad .

I really cant believe anybody's gripe about not getting these figures I know for a fact that he-man and beast man were available almost a whole month and skeletor was for at least a couple weeks theres been plenty of time to order these just get off your ass and order them on the 15th

Seriously, I ordered both of mine on the release date and got them in 4 days. I changed my shipping to UPS ground since I'm only a few days drive from Ontario, CA. I can't believe people are complaining about not getting these when the release date is posted and they're yet to sell out within a week of release. I just ALWAYS make sure I have $49 in my paypal acct for 2 and use my paypal debit card. If I don't have the money, I sell something. If you don't plan that far ahead or missed the boat, that's YOUR fault, not some "scalper's".

In my opinion, the 200X Faker is MUCH better designed and is MUCH harder to find, and will always be. Do a search if you doubt me. There are like 100 new Fakers and a total of TWO from the 200X-line on ebay. Last edited by QBERT; 02-08-2009 at 04:10 AM.. |
