I forgot another great show I saw was Ween at Clutch Cargo's in Pontiac, MI. They played for almost 4.5 hours straight. It was pure magic. btw I stole a copy of Testament's "Practice What You Preace" from the local mall the day it was released.

All time best is AC/DC at BSU stadium (definitely not cool because of the venue!) for the Blow Up Your Video Tour. Cinderella opened up for them as well and to top things off it was my first concert ever. Hard to compare when it to anything else besides.....
Rage Against the Machine at the old abandoned state pen in Idaho. That band playing in a run down, old prison....venues don't come better than that! The music was of course great too. |

I bet you will never forget that show. That is a true frontman and the closest I have gotten to some real punk attitude. William sims was playing for Tomahawk with Mike Patton from Mr. Bungle(& faith no more) and the guitar sounds the same as Jesus Lizard. Everyone needs to check out that clip

alice cooper 2001....first and only time i saw him....most fun i ever had at a concert! it was a very small venue....a casino to be exact. there was NO ONE in the row two back from where my seat was. so i had the whole row to myself to run around and rock out with alice. |

LOL I have forgotten more shows than I remember that's for sure! Quicksand and Helmet show was awesome. They were incredible! The funny thing was the stage riser was only about 12 inches or so so the band was like right in your face - it was great!
Do you play music or sing? and do you have a band or project? I have no musical talent unless you count Kazoo

Forgot about one...
1st Mike Watt solo tour at the Barrymore in Madison,WI Hovercraft (eddie vedder and his wife) and Foo Fighters opened. (their first album wouldn't come out for a few months... they were dressed in orange jump suits and joked that they stole them from a Hardee's) When Watt played, Eddie Vedder and Pat Smear were on Guitar and Dave Grohl was on drums... I was there for Watt, but that was my introduction to Foo Fighters, from about 20 feet away. |

There are several shows that I have really liked, but my favorite is my first real concert - U2 in '87 on their Joshua Tree tour. I also liked the Pixies, Smashing Pumpkins, REM, Pink Floyd, Pearl Jam, TMBG, and too many DMB shows to count.

Foo Fighters in a club in seattle on their "pre-tour" (they played like 6 clubs in Japan and the west coast as a warm up) for the Colour and the Shape in '97 ~ the played basically every song and most b-sides off their first 2 albums ~ i ended up seeing them 2 more times on that tour, but nothing was as awesome as in the club.
I've never seen them, but my friend is (or was) really into them. I think he caught their show.
