What is with Wal-Mart and their after Christmas clearance toy aisle?

For 3 years in a row now there are toys they only pull out for the clearance aisle post christmas. These being unsold DCUC figures of forager, and some dude in a black suit with yellow mask and cape, marvel universe series 1 spider and iron men, and star trek and terminator movie figs, and various other crappy toys no one wanted when they were new. Why do they only pull this stuff out after christmas? It would mean that they do have the mythical "area in the back" where they keep stock. right?

and I don;t think if people refused to buy forager new for 10.99 i don't think anyone is going to bite at 12.99 on clearance. what the heck.

My local WM had some Lego City series sets for 50% off. I bought some for my kids' future birthday presents.

walmart clearence is most times a joke. it just means they moved stuff to another part of the store.

Target is better they will reduce the price of stuff

one of the wal-marts near me has a year round discount section...... the prices are NOT reduced.

i have found stuff at meijer for 80 percent off though.
