Pick up Blowtorch today at Wal-mart for my husband. What a freakin cool figure. As I was puttin him together I was wondering do they stll have Flamethowers in the Army? Plus wouldn't that be kind of a bad job burning people?

Thats a good Question ! I'm sure they do. The forest rangers and National Guard and Reserves still use them for fire fighting !

The only function I can think of for Blowtorch is when Cobra deploy an all BATS squadron.

Well right on you guys are fast. Thanks. Looking at the real flamethowers that dont even wear all that gear that blowtorch wears. lol hmmmm Maybe time to make first custom.
Maybe Sgt Flash body Blowtorch head and Flash Helmet. Man that should be easy. Thanks |

~~i know it was just a movie,but i remember the us soldiers in saving private ryan using flamethrowers to burn out the nazi soldiers from their bunkers~~

Anyone remember a low budget campy "B'" movie from the 80's called the The Exterminator.I actually used to like it.If I recall he rigged up a garbage truck ala Road Warrior style

We (the US) haven't used flamethrowers for combat for some time now (only for burning fields and such it would seem). Looks like they may be connected to a vehicle mounted tank or something.
