This is probably the 6th or 7th truck that got stuck under the bridge by my building this year. It is the highlight of our day when it happens.
This one was able to get free on its own.

Holy cow. That's pretty funny, as long as nobody gets hurt. When you said truck stuck that is not what I expected, lol.

the second one must have been hauling ass to get that far through. Then ended up unhooking the trailer after they unloaded it and let air out of the tires then pulled it back wards.

i worked for a moving company one summer and the driver got stuck under a bridge in brooklyn while I was in the cab with him. This guy worked it like a pro. He was calm, collected and gave me swift orders. Between him and me and a buddy, he had us let air out of all the tires (more than half) with this doohickey he had and had me climb the cab and shout down when I saw about 4-6" of clearance.
We were out of there in less than ten minutes, faster than the cops could arrive to give us a ticket. This guy reminded me of the Wolf from Pulp Fiction!

Not only is there the huge sign with flashing lights on the bridge, but at the corner where they turned was aother huge sign low clearance, remain on the truck route.
It is also fun when big motor homes come whipping down the hill and loose their ac units and satelite dishes off the tops of them. The worst damage I have seen was a moving truck coming from the other direction (it was a straight truck with van body) that hit and peeled over 1/2 of the top of it off. The funny thing was the truck was from a place called Safe Movers.
