I was a police officer, actually served as chief of police for several years. I came within a inch of being struck in the face with a 12 gauge slug. It was the heart attack and stroke that put a halt to my career. With all that in my past I have a new life to look forward to, I think thats why I feel like I have a new lease on life.
But at least you are a hero and have a great story to tell everyone. Yeah happy birthday. Good I thought I was the only young person here. Quote:
I thought when people were in their 90's they were in graves, huh. Are they actually "living" or are they hooked up to machines. I thought that womens eggs would be shriviling up by the time they are in their 40's... |

My grandfather just died about 4-5 months ago. He was 96. He was driving up until 94 or so. He lived in a nursing home, but was able to walk around and play pool every day. He could kick my ass at pool. Guy I work with, his dad is 98 and participates in senior olympic games (and wins). The old man was in the office couple weeks back and has a stronger handshake then alot of people my age. Women in their 40s, it's harder for 'em to get pregnant and harder on the body, but it's still possible.

I didn't mean to be disrepectful toward the elderly people you care about. I though that around 40ish women are going through menapause...would they need science to help them get pregnant and have a healthy baby? |

Not everyone's chemistry is the same. Menopause usually hits women in the early to mid-50's... sometimes into the early 60's. It depends, everyone is different. The generalizations you make are akin to saying that all teenagers are moronic punks, just because they lack years of experience... I know many teenagers/early twenty-somethings that are great people. My 80 year old neighbor would probably disagree, but that's another viewpoint skewed by age. My point, reiterated: everyone is different... |

32, 33 in 3 months. And to the 19 year old who started this thread. Your 20's will go by so fast, you'll have trouble remembering them, enjoy it while you can.
