OK.. so.. needless to say I have been waiting for today.. 2 He-man and 2 beastman figures from Mattycollector.com
Now.. Mattycollector.com exclusive figures for collectors.. by collectors right... WRONG.. more like FOR COLLECTORS.. by people that want nothing but your money.. The figures get here today.. and I am stooked.. but then I see the box.. ok.. not big.. but not small if packaged right the figures will be awesome.. They are CRAMMED into a box BARELY big enough to to fit the figures.. and then they put 2 of those air pack bubbles on the top of it to hold them inplace.. Take the figures out.. the actual figure packaging is fairly small - barely big enough for the figure to fit in.. but the figures look great.. so not a big deal... UNTIL I pull the rest of them out.. JACKED UP.. Cards are torn.. edges and corners smashed and creased.. How the hell do they call this a collector site and then ship these figures like they are bargin basement ebay sellers from some third world country.. I have NEVER been so disapointed with a packaging job since the last time I let some minimum wage high school drop out THROW my joes into a bag at the check out and jacked up the corners of my figures.. Tomorrow I am calling and returning the figures to mattycollector as much as I want to collect this line there is no way I can allow myself to spend hard earned money for figures and see how they package them. |

And that's in part why Mattel's profits were down 41%. (Of course, several recalls due to lead paint helps too)

Yeah, I was wondering on the delivery time too. If they are charging a higher end price , which I think $20.00 is . I would imagine that should entail a little better packaging standard.

Just one comment--the title of this thread is grammatically incorrect.

And...Pixel Dan's video review of the new He-Man comes off just a bit homosexual to me.
Go to the site and listen to the guy talk about his rippling muscles and his sculpted body and poses. He just sounds weird as hell talking about this figure. |

It's He-Man, the most homo-erotic super hero I know of. . .what do you expect?
