| Subpoenas
Long story short:
I am a city councilman in our small town, and last year our former chief of police shot and killed his wife (the city finance officer). Being on the council and on the police committee I was interviewed a couple times by the DCI (Department of Criminal Investigation- basically the state police). The trial starts tomorrow, and tho I am on the witness list, I got lucky and didn't get subpoenaed.
The woman that sits next to me at work is on the jury tho. |
