MMA Thread

Hey fellow Tankers I was wondering if you had any favorites in the MMA world or if you love watching the sport as my buddies and I do

I can't wait for that pay per view either. My buddy is a huge GSP fan, I would say he is my favorite from that weight class. I like the fact that he is so down to earth and never acts like a jackass (Tito Ortiz)

exactly, I like watching Tito lose. Forrest is a favorite along with BJ Penn. I have about three other buddies that watch and are big fans also. Watched the WEC last night along with the last two shows of the Ultimate Fighter. Was lucky to get VIP tickets to the last UWC show that was about an hour from home. I met Faber and Condit there. alot of fun.

Not that big into MMA. Wouldn't want to meet any of 'em in a dark alley. I've watched the "contender"-like show a couple of times and seen some bouts.

Better then watching wrestling.

Wow, that sounds really cool. I don't know if anyone can take down Faber that guy is a bad ass and looks tough as nails. We haven't had a big show come to Austin just little stuff it is still cool to see it live and in person

That stuff is serious.
I don't get to watch because I don't have cable.
The fights I have seen are interesting; it's funny how a lot of their skills seem to cancel each other out and they end up grappling on the floor.

I will watch UFC or any of the other MMA shows before I will watch the old dinosaur boxing which is lame and dying. It has been for a while, and they can't figure it out to save themselves

To be honest with you I think the Joes and Cobra could recruit fighters into their ranks and have some trully badasses. I would love to see Hasbro include these guys into the development of new figures and regulars
