| Pretty much what the others said is all that can be done. I have traded and sold many things on here and never had a problem with recieving my items. Even from some that were noobs.
If his messages are going unanswered, 2 things could be a factor. He may have not been on in awhile and his inbox if full. Which means he may still hold up to his deal... or if they are going through. but not getting replied, then he may be scamming people. Wouldn't be the first case of that.
for the most part people trade on the trust system..and usually as long as there is communication back and forth you will get a positive rating.
Go to the buy/sell feedback thread.. see if you can find his name.. read the other feedback left, add yours to the list. After that...there isn't much else you can do. If they do not have a thread for feedback, make one so that others will know that they are taking a risk buying or trading from them. It's better than doing nothing.
