thanks. The video report was different than the yahoo article as shogi pointed out already in post #12 and i then commented on in post #16.
Try reading all the posts before throwing out that unnessary lecturing tone. A simple correction would have been fine even though it had already been sorted out before you posted. |

If you're going to blame Wal-Mart for lack of crowd control, couldn't you by extention blame the local authorities and police. No one is responsible for their own actions I guess...

I dont get why a 50 inch HD TV is more important than a human life, adult or unborn child, thank God the mom and baby are ok, an for that poor employee, well lets somebody must have to pay. About 6 years about a mob killed and injured a group of undercover cops near a little town in Mexico City and from the mob of 1500 the catch the 5 main provocateurs and killers by viewing the videos from the news and street cameras.
In fact my dad i was thinking about going to Eagle Pass Tx to the mall and the Wall Mart up there but had second thoughts about it cause Black Friday. Peace |

Getting trampled to death sucks either way, but man, this guy was only a temp for the holidays. Probably just looking for some extra dough to make ends meet. What shitty luck!

any law enforcement officers care to weigh in on this aspect? i would really like to know the details on how that works. i indeed saw many officers out today however most were used in mundane tasks vs. crowd control.

Not that I really trust all the info in the report I watched, but the reporter mentioned that thousands were out in the parking lot before the doors were opened. So let's assume she meant a thousand or slightly less. Wouldn't a crowd that size gathered in a parking lot early in the morning warrant some extra attention by the police on patrol?
I don't know, I'm sure there's a whole different reality going on in NY than here in central Minnesota. |

It's both Wal-Marts and the customers falt's....
Wal-Mart= They had a low number of things for a great deal. This might sound bad, but typically Wal-Mart has more uncivil customers then any other place I have been. In other words, the ghetto store. Customers= They are greedy little basterds thats cant control them selfs. I want to know how any of then would have thought that any other would have got the cheap things anyway... Should Wal-mart be sewed? No. Should they pay the family compensation for the death? Yes... Should all the people the trampled the pour guy to death be prosecuted? HELL YES!!!!! All the things you can get in life, will never equal the price of a person's life, or even pain.

That should be the store managers job to open the doors that day(with police present), not a part timers job.
If WM upper management were to unlock the doors they'd have made sure this wouldn't happen, sad. My Wal-Mart had about 15- 20 people shopping when I got there shortly after opening LOL !
