Ya know people who have dogs neve understand how gd loud they can be. I have a neighbor who has one and I swear to god they let it out at all hours of the night (I live in a house with a good 20 feet between houses and you can NOT escape the noise it makes) and I am to the point where I will kill this dog if it wakes me up one more gd time. I hate it and they ENCOURAGE it to bark to bother me intentionally cause the lady is a totall asshole. I approached her about it and she FILLED aginst me at the police station for sexaul harrasing her and all Ia sked is could yo please not let your dog out between 10pm and 9am (when I am hoem relaxing). If I owned a gun the dog would be dead plain and simple. Id blow its brains all over he back yard and laugh my ass off at her.
So yeah dogs can bother your neighbors and you need to respect the dog barking laws in your area. Dogs that bark can be trianed not to, it is courterous and dog noise is considered noise pollution! They do not know when to shut up and bark if the wind blows! Shoot your dog, let cats infest the world! |

People can live their lives and lives make noise. It's simple as that, but, after 10pm and before 7am noise is unacceptable and folks should make sure that they are courteous to their neighbors. That means keeping your dog from barking. Dogs do bark, but that's not my problem. Can't keep it quiet and wake my wife and sleeping baby, then I'm going to complain.
Ultimately it always comes down to owner responsibility.

What you do every time they complain, is you shit on their news paper. Then roll it back up and leave it on their door step ! Shit happens ! If anyone asks.

my neighbors called the cops twice on me, they are weird i only ever see them when they are pulling in and out of their garage. the first time the called the cops cause me and my friend were building a shed kit in the backyard at like 11 am on a saturday with the radio on (noise). the second one happened last week when my girlfriend's car was "parked in front of the driveway" it was like 6 inches tops and it was on the street. the cops woke me up at like 6 in the morning on a tuesday to move the car. i hate those weirdos!

It's not the dogs fault. It's doing what comes natural to it. I don't hold dogs accountable for their actions...I hold their owners accountable. It's ultimately their responsibility to make sure that their dogs are properly trained and kept in check. I used to live in a house and had a neighbor whose dog barked at everything. Planes, clouds, the moon. They let it out late and early and all day in between all year long... I live in the Chicagoland area, so all year long can be both very hot and humid to very cold. I considered killing the dog until I realized that it's only being a dog. I spoke with my neighbors and they were cool about it and then kept the dog in after 10pm and let it out after 7am. That was an instance of being neighborly. Hard to find that these days though.

I have studied up on kllin that dog quite a bit, striknyne on a dead rat would be a quick end to it, just toss it over the fence. But your right it is just an animal and I don't like hurting animals but it is being used as a torture device against me and killing the neighbor is not really an option (humans are scum anyway we should all die off and let the animals have the planet back in peace) the only recousrse is to get the locak polic einvolved and they have doen a pretty damn good job of letting the nighbor know it is bothering me (at $85 an incident now in fines) so that is the best I will ever get unless I decide to get a restrianing order on the dog which I don;t care to do (12 gauge would be better!)

So I have lived at my residence for two years, had my dog for one. I get new neighbors than, I get a noise complaint form my humane society cause of my dog. I know all my neighbors except the ones that just moved in. I am not sure how to approach them when I see them, and, I am not sure if I am wrong but have thought of going over there in an attempt to be civil, but after this kind of first impression I am not sure how to proceed.....now I know not all people are "dog people" but the time frame it was filed for was from 11am - noon between those times. Good enough time to come talk to me about it as neighbors if it was really that bad before filing a complaint. I mean he is a doberman for fuck's sake....sorry to clog the boards with such a thread but damn i had to vent.
I don't know in which state you live, but certain rules likely apply for both you and your neighbour. I don't know that I actually subscribe to the idea of dog people vs cat people or fish people or ferret people. You all open up your home to animals. Cats, personally, I despise. To cat people, that makes me shallow. To dog people, that makes me intelligent. Ferrets, I don't get at all. Most people would call an exterminator if such a creature were in their home. Plus, they smell. Cats smell too. Dogs, I don't notice so much. Fish are obvious. Long story short, the situation requires a little more explaination. |
