whatever...best way to handle this, is share, let her know she is more than free to look at, read, or pose in any of these mags, or movies she would like....i think she would feel even more appreciated

Sorry you got busted man but i'm pretty sure your both adults and porn is just part of growing up and there's nothing wrong with it. I've still got my entire collection from when i was younger and I actually thought about throwing them out and my wife told me to hold on to them b/c she likes to look at them too.....well let me just say this opened up new doors and everything has been great since.m

Shoots, my GF is raging mad after finding my Playboy magazine stash. Since this ain't the first time it's happened, I didn't know what else to say other than I'm sorry. I then threw out the magazines, well most of it. What to do now? Need to contain the damage. I'm taking the couch for sure tonight.

I feel ur pain an ex-gf from years ago when we were dating threw out my collection, I had some rare mint ones sealed like the 1986 Cindy Crawford Issue and the May 1992 Anna Nicole Issue. The one that I really got mad that she threw out was the April 1999 WWE Sable Premire Issue. Now that I am married to a new girl she actually does not mind I have these she even managed to get me an April 2006 Candice Michelle Issue and this past April's with Maria in it. If I were you I would trash something of hers to even the score my friend; because it seems she is self-conscieus.
I've actually got all the Playboys with the women from WWE....the Candace or Ashley one I would say are the best |

Could not find the Ashley one my wife was hunting for that particular one, I managed to grab the final Sable/Torrie Wilson issue before I got married my wife saw them and said; thank god they will never have an ugly chick from WWE to pose: I said ever see the Chyna one? She started gagging, like George Lopez does in his stand-up routines when he mentions fat women in small outfits.

Take a Psychology class. It has been proven to weaken a marriage/relationship when one or 2 of them have porn in the house, or look at it on line. In some cases, will turn into adultery, then divorce. Not in all cases, but there is that chance.
As for the second. That was completely uncalled for! Maybe he is, maybe he isn't, but that is crossing the line on the forum... Porn has never been a good thing, just like alcohol, guns, smoking and Barbie. They just are no good.... Whether porn is right or wrong is simply up to the individual, you only need to read the full thread to see the broad range of views on the subject. And i'd dispute porn being the cause of relationships to fall apart, maybe some remote examples but I think if you dug deeper you'd find much bigger issues caused the split. |

Alcohol and smoking are fine in moderation, and guns are simply a tool, like an axe or a car or fire. It has no inherent positive or negative quality outside of the user. Barbies are no worse than GI Joes, frankly. Quote:

Porn may not be what tears a relationship apart, but it certainly can be the catalyst. Take a normal guy who's never been exposed to that kind of thing, married to a similar girl. Both are quite content in their sex life, having never known anything else. Expose that guy to something like that, and suddenly he knows there's more out there. He goes from perfectly content to unhappy, and that's a terrible thing. If you're married, you shouldn't need to go elsewhere for that satisfaction. Otherwise, why get married?

Hey, asked my wife and she said to tell your wife that magazines cannot make her problems. Just don't let her catch ya at the strip club bub!

Sorry to hear about your troubles CG76! I wish there was some advice I could give that would help, fortunately I have not encountered this kind of issue with all the women I have gone out with (and presently married to).
The closest I did come to a near melt down was when my wife was half-way thru her pregnacy with our second kid. I was invited to go out with several female co-workers to a strip club and my wife wanted to come along (she had been to male strip clubs before but not female). Anyway she was doing fine until I went up to the stage and the stripper on it started to grind with me. When I got back to the table my wife was trying her hardest to show she was not upset. Needless to say I cut the evening short. We didn't mention it for several months. A couple months after she gave birth to our second son she just one day blurted out that she wanted to try the strip club again. Pretty soon we became regulars. I also had a subscription to Playboy (which I had for two years at that point) but my wife never seemed to mind. We also watch porn together (which I think is better than watching it with a bunch of other guys, a virtual "sausage fest"). I guess my only point to this is to slowly expose her to this stuff (maybe with some of her female friends) and see what transpires. |
