I am so happy to hear that i am not the only seller who knows the what is going on with eBay and Paypal. We used to sell on eBay exclusively but now we send certain items to Amazon and have started our own site. The only problem with having your own site, is that you have to advertise it, so tell your friends please so that I can get away from FeeBay forever : -)
PS: Do any of you know how easy it is to steal from eBay? I have had over $3000 stolen in 3.5 years. Basically if you use a credit card on Paypal, all you have to do is say that the seller sent the incorrect item. They will give you your money back. They may ask you to send the item back, just send back an empty box. That's how everyone did it to me.
What the hell gives eBay and Paypal the right to police the internet anyway? They really should not be involved in the trade, and they certainly should not help crime in such a way.
As far as I am concerned they are both accessories to mail fraud. I think their time will come, a class action law suit will arise and they will fall or be forced to make major corrections.

I agree. I'll buy stuff off ebay, but screw selling. Until they make stop jacking me in the cornhole with their retarded-ass fees, I'm done.

You should feel Lucky. You should check out a website called Paypal Sucks. On there you will find countless horror stories about how paypal is freezing peoples accounts due to "suspecious" activity and in some cases they can't get their money back for months on end. For some people this is thousands of dollars and means the end of their livelihood.
BTW.. I'm selling stuff on Amazon. Its much easier and friendlier and no paypal. The only drawback is they wont let you sell toys from Nov 17th till Jan 7th unless you meet certain criteria. But I've sold nearly $200 bucks worth of toys on there the past month.

I don't sell on ebay, but I do buy and so I hate to hear what's going on. Ebay has a virtual monopoly on this market and they need some serious competition to straighten things out. People have built businesses that they depend on to pay the bills and now they have no choice but to pay the extra fees or go to Amazon, which I'm sure is good but not nearly as profitable for many.

I just sold about $1500.00 in carded Joes and none of the money was held so I was pretty happy about it. They really dont protect the seller with the hold of the money. What if you legit send it with confirmation and the people say they got it but the item in the box wasn't the item ? OR if it isn't in the condition that was stated. I think they will change this rule. Pay Pal or E-Bay doesn't want to work that hard for their fees so once more and more ppl complain I think they will discontinue the rule.

I don't think ebay will survive the next year.
