| Cool Thread, I used to be a Barista myself though we never called ourselves that, and personally I find the name to be pretty gay. I worked for a little mom and pop shop that had alot of personality not like the McCoffee Houses that dominate now adays. Everyone smoked there and you were inundated with shitty art and shitter poetry anytime you went in the place. Oh how I miss it.
1) How much Coffee (cups or pots) do you drink on average in a day? One large travel cup
2) Do you drink your Coffee with anything in it?
I don't think you should hide the taste of your coffee. Though on occation it's perfectly acceptable to enhance it w/ some brandy!
3) Do you grind your own beans at home? If so do You think it makes a difference in taste/quality? I can barely get the pot loaded as it is! If ya want a great cup though ya should. But I can't be bothered to mess with all that but once in a blue moon.
4) Do You have a favorite brand or flavor? (either whole bean or ground) The $5.99 preground tub of Target coffee!! Hell yeah! Don't get me wrong I enjoy the good stuff but I won't pay $10 for a bag that'd last me a week and a half.
5) Lastly for now...do You do espresso too?
It depends on where i'm getting it. I don't have the patience or trust for the 16y/o @ Starbucks. All they seem to understand is the blender. They aren't even trusted to steam the milk anymore the damn machine does it. In places like they've turned coffee into a candy imo. |
