I don't understand the AFA hype, never have however, I do like small business and if a company can prosper by grading collectibles, then good for that company. If those auctions sell, then all I have to say is that there are some people who have way too much money, or that those video games are actually worth that much to the buyer.
Don't get too worked up over it though.

NES Sealed VGA Control Deck (Top Loader NES)
i remember when TRU had these marked down to $19.99 and if you bought it you got Yoshi's Cookies for free with it. |

I got my Nintendo out of storage not too long ago. I took it completely apart, cleaned everything and rebuilt it. Man the thing works better than when i got it 20 years ago. Doesnt even blink anymore.

Well consider a sealed/minty copy of Earth Bound or Final Fantasy III (really VI in disguise) already can sell for about 300-400 dollars in a used video game store, and you think this AFA thing is suprising?
