I just found out this morning that my girlfriend (Dark Songstress here on the Tank) has a very rare, very advanced form of cancer. It's spread all over her and she is in a medically induced coma. They don't know if chemo will work at this point, but they're going on with it.
This. Is. Bullshit.

A co-worker of mine a couple years ago ended up being diagnized with cancer, and was told he had two days to live. Turns out he made it 10 days before he passed. He was only 26.

She's comatose. The cancer is lymphatic and spreading rapidly- they've put her into respiratory stasis or whatever to slow it down. On top of it, he's suffering kidney and misc. organ failure.
