Since that Camerelli and Lankow have been on fire, and Kipper has huge win tallies. Iginla's slump is happening right in the middle of the year. And with his Game winner over the Sharks, it looks like Phaneuf might be coming back to form. I'd rather peak late, than too early. |

true. though for Iginlia, was it shining or being the best out of a (then) bad bunch? I remember asking where the flames were when the hockey news listed Vancouver as Canada's last best hope. then I thought, was that the slogan from Babylon 5?

True his production is down lately as others come up, but I can't say whether thats related or not. It could just be others peaking while he slumps. FOr most of December He and Camerelli were a great pair up front, but again I can't really say. Part of it I think is that because he was the main scorer at the beginning of the year that the opposing defense focuses mainly on him, and others on different lines get less effective defensemen facing them and have an easier time potting goals. Just my opinion though. |

oh dude, I see your point. I've been a fan of his for a good while (though I still roll w/ Lecavalier). He's definitely a dominate force and one of the best in the league.

I always admire the fact even in the playoffs when the opposing team focuses on Iginlia, the dude can still find ways to power through and carry that team on his back.

Whoa, Saturday will be an awesome hockey night.
Boston vs. Washington Detroit vs. San Jose Top 4 teams playing each other on the same night! Now that's a hockey night (in the USA)! I'll take that over number 1 star Sidney Crosby vs. "King" Henrik on NBC on Sunday... I'm so sick of that promo... |
