My brother is a big fan and he's beside himself when it comes to them now! They are doing worse than the Leafs if you can believe that! YEAH!!!

So the Bruins win a few games and out come all the fairweather fans...
(Relax fellas, just poking at you a bit.) Congrats on your boys riding the top spot in the East! Now let's see how they do against the Pens tonight... |

Yeah... That's... it... Huh? (maybe in ol' Ray's diluded mind)
Where were we in last season's thread??? Although I do remember suggesting we offer Sharke as a sacrifice to the hockey gods in a playoffs thread... Right where we want them... buahahahahah... (yeah, I don't know either, I'm just a little loopy after reading all the nerds debating SW vs Trek) |

haha I wasnt on the board last season, just joined in August, but I woulda been behind em all the way!!
I really like the Sharks, they are a team that has paid its dues and deserve something good in the end of course not at the expense of the Bruins though lol

Well having a NHL thread isn't too fun when you team is playing like crap. The Wild have been just awful the whole month of December. Played a good game in Calgary, but still lost.
I WAS looking forward to our first game agains the Sharks, but now I'm just hoping the Wild don't embarass themselves. The team's very fragile right now. One mistake that leads to a goal and most of the team caves in for the rest of the game. Even if they don't beat the likes of the Sharks and Wings during their next few games, I hoping the team can gain a little confidence by playing well. Who knows maybe they'll suddenly all remember how to score goals or something crazy like that. |

BTW, how about those Wings shutting out the Hawks last night??? I am really starting to like Conklin (not like I didn't appreciate his talent, even with Pittsburgh last season). Hopefully, his excellent play will continue on Thursday at Wrigley and will push Osgood to pick up his game as well. Ozzie always did play better when he had to earn the top spot. Speaking of Pittsburgh, they certainly looked decidedly mortal last night against Boston, particularly Fleury. Did you all catch Chara squashing Malkin? You gotta love that... |
