That exactly what I'm hoping for!!

The Wild lead the division for much of the first part of the season with games in hand. At least that's what I remember anyway. Vancouver took over in November, but we still have played one less game than them. I'm really looking forward to Friday's game with the Canucks. Should be a good one!

How long is he supposed to be out. Wasn't it only for a week or so?

He's just holding the spot for Ron Francis to take over next year anyway...

think he's day by day....I'm going to the Canucks/Thrashers game in January w/ my Dad, hopefully he's back by then. what really sucks is Vancouver's back up goalie got injured a week after Luongo.

Man, the Wings won the game against Vancouver last night, but showed once again just how porous their defense is this season. Crazy that they had one of the best all last season with essentially the same core group. Ozzie still weirds me out sometimes... like he's right on the edge of a breakdown all the time... It's gonna be tough to win games when you have to score 5, 6, 7 goals to overcome lacking defense.

The Wild play the Canucks tonight on their back to back road trip. Normally this would be a good thing hoping Vancouver is tired out after playing the Wings, but for some reason the Wild have struggled against teams in this situation. Then again games between these two teams are usually close hard fought battles. Hopefully the Canucks used up all their goals for the week against Detroit.

I've got to admit, I've been converted to an Avery fan. I like this battle now between Avery and Bettman! Though the challange I guess is to pick which one is less of a deuchebag...
