I just wanted to give a shout out to all of my friends here on HissTank. Halloween is right around the corner, and that means fun parties, pranks and games, candy and caramel apples, awesome decorations, and great costumes...
As of right now, my wife and i don't have any plans yet, but i would love to hear some plans you guys might have. What kinda parties you might attend or throw? Any scary haunted houses in your area? What kinda costumes you will be wearing? Feel free to share any Halloween experiences that would be funny to tell... Thanks and Happy Halloween HissTank!...

Thanks! Happy Halloween to you too and the rest of the Tankers!
Halloween is my favorite holiday and fall is a fun time of year. My plans right now include my brother in law's 40th birthday party which is a costume party as well. On Halloween we usually go over to my sister's house who has a great neighborhood for trick or treating (garage parties/pot lucks and hey rides and such) and go out with the kids and then stay up watching movies. As a wargamer, my friend Eric and I usually have big Warhammer Fantasy battle pitting his Witch Hunter themed army versus my Vampire led Undead army or some veriasion on that theme. Haven't come up with a costume yet, but if I'm rushed for time I might just throw on my old Army boots, BDU bottoms, beret, gloves, and a G.I. Joe shirt and go as Flint or something. As for stories, I guess I had a lot of fun being a butcher's son in High School as my parents would save up cow and pig eyes and tongues for me to use in very creative ways on Halloween night.

well...last year I was going to watch every single scary movie I could get my hands on, but... I had to do a procedure called "inter cranial pressure monitoring", which is wear they put a rather large needle in your brain.
I had the study done in this dirty understaffed hospital where they only gave me 1 meal for two days, a small, old turkey sandwich which my nurse found somewhere, keep in mind I had no dietary restrictions, they just kinda forgot about me. I had a really bad headache, which is why I had to have the study done, and there was this kid who had some kind of chromosome disorder across from me (the walls were curtains) who would just scream 24/7, which really didn't help my headache. My curtain room was on the corner of a busy hallway and people would just go in and out of my room, using it as a shortcut. that made going to the bathroom difficult considering I had to pee in a cup, in my room. I was awake when they took the needle out of my head, which was......traumatizing. I could feel it coming out of my brain considering all the different things that were done to me (including waking up from brain surgery with NO narcotics at all, my neurosurgeon's reason "I had back surgery without any painkillers" hello, back surgery and brain surgery is not the same fricking thing!!!!!!! ) but yeah I'm going to try to watch some scary movies this year. |

Sounds like you got to live a horror movie instead.
I've got a show on my school's internet radio station so I'll do a Halloween themed show or something.

Going to the same neighborhood Halloween party my wife and I go to every year,the blood red hunch punch is the best I have ever had.The party gets moved to a different house in the neighborhood each year and the host has an allotment of assotiation dues to pay for the party.It's always a blast.I heard this year the Lamberts(the hosts who we hardly know btw)are doing a plexiglass cover over their pool they are dying red,and doing a haunted house theme.As for costumes......... this year I am painting a big box like a brick for my wife,and buying a hard hat and toolbelt for myself.
Wife=brick Me=brick layer. Happy Halloween! |

Me and my fiancee will be going to our neighbor's halloween party since no kids come around here :(
I usually have a costume planned months in advance but I just haven't been able to come up with anything this year so I figures I'll go as a Zombie Outbreak Survivor. As the night progresses, I'll add more and more makeup until I'm a zombie by the end of it |
