I love PBS most of the time. I especially love the British sitcoms. Lawrence Welk is pretty great also. I forget the gruff German painter that ran opposite of Bob Ross when I was a kid, but he was my favorite. Total contrast.
Cole slaw, sauerkraut, tabasco and horseradish make everything better. I'm surprised to see so many people here who don't drink. I used to (used to smoke also), but I rarely do anymore. I don't get why so many people find indulging in alcoholism to be "the thing" to do with weekends (or evenings in general). I still occasionally have a margarita, and I spent 2 years in Germany, so I know how tasty a GOOD beer can be (they're hard to find here - American beer is swill). Good beer also dosen't require a at least a six pack to feel a buzz (it's not a competition to see who can drink the most! geez!), and doesn't give you the trots. Oh and I think in this case the correct term for trots would be Bud-Mud. |

Mr Rogers: every once in a while, reminds me of being a kid. Good memories are always welcome.
Bob Ross: His show is the most relaxing thing I've ever seen on t.v.. I wish it was on every night to help me unwind from a day of dealing with idiots that make me hate the human race. Plus anyone who can paint a masterpiece in 27 minutes should get props. Who thinks you should hate these two legends? I don't understand how anyone could feel that way about them. I've been told that Mr. Rogers really was that friendly (not just on the show). I also completely understand what you are saying about how relaxing it is to watch Bob Ross paint. Although I did see an episode of The Joy of Painting last weekend where he painted his worst piece ever (that I have seen). |

People think I'm nuts, and my friends laugh at me, but I loved the "Lost in Space" movie to death. Death.

The Phantom Menace. Sorry, but it wasn't a bad movie by any means and wasn't universally panned until a few months AFTER release. I understand if you don't like it, but there's no way this is the worst movie ever made unless your a die hard Star Wars fan who was disappointed the movie didn't live up to the stories you made with your Kenner action figures. I liked it and have found that (like the new Clone Wars) it's a great way to introduce your children to the world of Star Wars.

Ssshhh, keep this quiet, but I liked the movie and would kill for a 25th Cobra La pack... I would Fing love to have a Golobulus, Nem, and Pythona surrounded by a troop of Cobra La soldiers. Also, I'm not a particularly clean person, but I love ironing. it's weird.

I love the eighties tunes as well.
Other things I like that I am not supposed to like are: 1.) Cobra Commander (don't like Serpentor at all). 2.) Yogurt that has expired (Most brands of yogurt are actually edible up to 30 days after the expiration date) 3.) Filmation cartoons (Bravestarr, Blackstar, He-Man and Thundarr) 4.) Driving fast in school zones while everyone is inside their classrooms (Look, the kids, teachers and parents are NOWHERE near the school street areas at 10:15 AM, but I still have to drive 20 MPH in a normally 45 MPH zone? ARGH, no one is in danger if I do 45 MPH through the area!!!) 5.) Media commentators: Charles Krauthammer, Sean Hannity, Brit Hume, Michelle Malkin and Rush Limbaugh. 6.) Politicians: Governor Sarah Palin 7.) Actors: John Wayne, Clint Eastwood, Bruce Willis, Sylvester Stallone 8.) Museums 9.) Hunting 10.) Red meat, hot dogs, microbrew beer and red wine 11.) Educated women (not interested in dating sluts) 12.) My Nissan Titan and Ford Mustang GT. Driving anything less than a V8 does not cut it with me. And yes, I don't care if I am burning more gasoline because we need to create more AMERICAN jobs at home by drilling the Dakotas, Florida coast, California coast and Gulf of Mexico. There are lots of Americans out there that are capable of working in the petroleum industry if we give them the chance. Last edited by Bravestarr; 10-02-2008 at 01:28 AM.. |

IMO, TPM was the best of the prequels. That's right... go ahead, mock all you like. Liam Neeson was fantastic... though they could have done a LOT more with Maul.

I loved the live action Transformers movie too. Other things: 1. Harry Potter Movies & books. 2. Oingo Boingo 3. Grey's Anatomy 4. Gilmore Girls 5. Star Trek 6. Simon & Garfunkel 7. Cobra Commander action figures (all of them!) 8. Poison 9. Def Leppard (until they lip-sunk on Dancing with the Stars... that really pissed me off) 10. COLDPLAY (my favorite band!) Let the mocking commence! |
