Hello.
I'm Andrew. (Once, when I introduced myself that way, someone actually said, "Hello, Mandrew!" His son was getting married so I think he was nervous.) Anyway, I'm 34 - married with 2 kids. I'm a geology professor just north of Cincinnati, Ohio. I'm just getting into collecting with the 25th joes (not counting all the transformers, batman, and JLU figures my kids have and all the long gone joes, SW, and transformers I used to have as a kid). |

I'm Gabe.
I'm 16. I like pie. I have some sort of obssession with anything from the 1980's. I'm from San Fran. I've loved Star Wars since I was 3, Transformers since I was 5, and I can't recall when I got into Joes. I have a pretty big toy collection that used to border obsessive compulsive disorder. I also might have ADD, Tourettes, and anger issues. I am a very complicated person!

Hi my name is Matt and I'm an alcoholic.......wait, where the hell am I??!
Oh yeah, I'm a 30 yr. old Entomologist (that's a bug scientist for those of us in the cheap seats) and a fledgling movie producer and actor. I also occasionally do voiceover work on FM radio. I live in Orlando, FL. Single, no kids. I have been a die-hard RAH fan since the very beginning (82). My very first joe was a straight arm flash that came in an easter basket that my grandmother bought me and I've been a mad-dog for the mythos ever since. I also collected the marvel comics since 82. I am also a big star wars and transformer fan and pretty much anything 80's (cartoons, music, tv, movies, toy lines, etc.) |

I am Apac...aka Shane.
32...married going on 10 years...two kids. Reside in Pottsville Pa...home of america's oldest brewery - so I blame my drinking on my geographical location. lol My job title varies by the freaking minute - literally. I tell my boss I am Braddock....someone is off-who's gonna fill in? BRAAAAAAAADOCK!!!! LOL My supposed title is Receiving Clerk/Layout Engineer at a Steel Service Center. But I've done all jobs there from the floor to the office...and most days still do. I was into Joes alot as a kid...then got older and grew out of them, but I held on to my childhood collection. One day...about 4 years ago, my son and I stumbled upon my collection...ever since that day we have been going strong on collecting/customizing/playing joes.

I'm so freakin' depressed right now.......all these married men and I'm still single???? WTF?!?!?!
Anyhoo........ Prudence 36 (how the hell did THAT happen??) Lifelong New England girl-CT and the Berkshires(for private Catholic schooling for 4 years)-then back here to CT I've been a 'Joe' since I got a vintage '64 12" G.I. Joe back when I was like 4.....still have him too...... Then I got into the 3 3/4" line right from the crack of the gun in '82.....and haven't looked back since! I'm also HUGE Superman, Star Wars, Xena geek...... Collect comic books-have since I was able to read-my collection is 'considerable' to say the least :p I work in the automotive business, up until about a month and a half ago, I had been a lube tech for Jiffy Lube, rising up to the 'esteemed' position of managing 3 JL's at one time-then I moved to Commercial Sales and Service for Advance Auto Parts-then to managing a successful garage-to Service Advisor for a Lincoln Mercury/Mitsubishi/Jeep/Acura dealership.....but now I work in the office of a highly successful autobody repair facitily (privately owned) In my spare time, I am the President of the Ladies Club of my church, I have been teaching religion for over 20 years (since I made my Confirmation), I am a Unit Commissioner for the Boy Scouts of America as well as sitting on the board of Catholic Scouting for my Archdiocese..... I've been playing softball with the same core group of girls since we were all in little league, high school and women's league.......and I've been a catcher through it all........but now, we mostly just play so that we can hang out and drink afterwards ;) I draw, write and am a voracious reader......there's a ton of things that I have on a rotating schedule....including downhill skiiing, tennis, movies, concerts, etc.......... I love to cook, if I could find a man who said to me, 'Honey, you stay home and cook til your heart's content', I'd be a happy woman...... I've spent the past 15 years raising my youngest brother, who's now a freshman in high school-and since he's in the marching band, like I was, my life from the last 2 weeks of August until Thanksgiving are devoted to competitions........and I still get that same feeling every time I see my alma mater march to the 50 yard line and snap into unison........ Well, I've bored you all enough.......I've got to go and pour a glass of wine and read about more of you 'married and/or taken' men........

My name is Jon, and I'm thirty years old. My girlfriend and I live with my dog in Charlotte, NC. I work as a writer, editor, and web developer for a movie distributor, and I do freelance writing, web development, graphic design, and photography for independently-owned businesses in my spare time, either in barter or for extra cash. I've been a vegetarian for thirteen years, and vegan for a little more than a year. I'm also agnostic and childfree. I started collecting carded action figures when I was twelve years old, but along with all my comics, I lost my collection as a teenager. I got back into the hobby with The Phantom Menace.
I collect STAR WARS, DC Comics (especially DC animated), and G.I. Joe action figures, some Blade and Sin City stuff, and NY Giants cards and memorabilia. I love movies and music, but I'm really picky about what I like. |
