Seriously, I watch C-SPAN History more than I do ESPN. I can't imagine being forced to watch it during the holidays. Tell your relatives to go F- themselves when they demand it. | Ummm...you're probably in the wrong thread then...this thread is for people who enjoy watching NFL football and sharing their experiences and thoughts from usually watching their favorite teams. Although playing football is cool too. |

“In response to this afternoon’s ruling, the Minnesota Vikings are very disappointed in the National Football League’s decision and suspension of Kevin Williams and Pat Williams. At the appropriate time, we will have further comment.”
Can't wait to see how that affects the run defense on Minneblowta. Wish it would have happened last week. The worst part is da Bears have to rely on Detroit to win in MN and win 4 in a row to be first in the division. Not looking so good.
Really glad to see Plexico do something super stupid. He is an amazing receiver but his attitude blows. The real injury was shooting himself in the foot. Even without him the Gints are good though. That redneck they have throwing the ball is playing well and Brandon Jacobs is a monster. I would rather take on a light duty truck dressed in an inflatable sumo suit than try and tackle him. GO BEARS! |

It'll be interesting on how the Vikes deal with this. Especially with having to play Arizonia, Atlanta, and the Giants. Even though the offense is getting better, its scary to have to depend on them more. |

Big Thanksgiving dessert with the 48-20 win over the Cards; though it always sucks being on the fringe of the Wildcard chase with 4 weeks left to go!
Desean Jackson #10 (aka Weapon X) has provided a much-needed spark to the Eagles O this year. Hopefully Fabulous Five will come though and serve out steaming servings of Chunky Soup passing the rest of the year.
I'm surprised to see so many Bears fans active in this thread too.
Fly, Eagles, Fly! E - A - G - L - E - S , Eagles!!!

December 5th, 2008 – 3:11 PM by Chip Scoggins
This won’t make the Vikings happy. NFL spokesman Randall Liu said in an email that Bears defensive end Adewale Ogunleye was not fined for hitting quarterback Gus Frerotte in the back well after he released the ball.
However, Jared Allen was fined $10,000 for unsportsmanlike conduct after using the football as a prop during a celebration following a sack. Allen pretended to do CPR on the ball on his final sack of the game.
Allen has now been fined $90,000 by the NFL this season. He was fined $75,000 for hits on quarterbacks Matt Schaub and Aaron Rodgers, $5,000 for jumping on a pile late on a run against the Bears and now $10,000 for using the football as a prop during a celebration.
I just heard that Chicago’s Charles Tillman was fined $7,500 for his horsecollar tackle on Bernard Berrian in the second quarter.
More fines: I just talked to my college buddy Brad Biggs from the Chicago Sun-Times and he said Chicago’s Brandon Lloyd got fined $7,500 for his horsecollar on Benny Sapp on the interception return in the fourth quarter.
Sapp received a $5,000 fine for hitting Rashied Davis in the head that drew a personal foul penalty.
Crazy stuff.... |

WOW. I agree with not giving Ogunleye a fine. Gus did a pretty good acting job on that. I have been Calling him Gus Divac all week with my buddies. |
