Hollywood will not stop as long as he can get kids to watch his cotton-candy drivel.
Man, they almost had Guillermo Del Toro - a real director - on the project. That would have been a twisted and cool version if he could tone it down for kids. |

Okay, as being the only person on here that KNOWS this is a guy who spends hours in the library researching, it'll resemble "Greystoke" if anything.
Come on, he directed a live-action "Jungle Book" (The one with an older Mowgli) as well as "Tom and Huck", "The Adventures of Huck Finn" and produced the TV version of "Oliver Twist". The fellow's actually pretty well read if you think all he does is make 'mindless' films. (Well, "Gunmen" sucked. And so did "Deep Rising". But he's found his niche.)

Hopefully he'll personally demonstrait how he wants the swinging on the vines to look, then overshoot and swing himself right into the pit of the replica volcano.

So what sort of cameo will Brendan Frasier have in this movie? He could show as a George of the Jungle and they could fight...........in black uniforms.
