I've been cleaning out my basement and found some old Lego toys I'd like to sell online. I've had a Paypal account for a few years now but have only ever used it to buy stuff, never to sell.
I've read a lot of info on paypal's website, but for some reason, some of it still seems vague. I figured I'd ask people who have actually used it. So my question is how do I accept paypal payments through my account? Do I absolutely need to register a bank account with them? If so, is it safe? Do you have a special bank account just for paypal? I guess I'm a little weary of giving paypal that info, so any tips you guys have to offer would be great. Thanks, OB |

You don't have to have a bank account for PayPal. It's just quicker. PayPal will mail you a check or debit card if you don't want to use your account.
PayPal is safe as far as I know. I haven't had any problems.

Just be careful using it to buy things from HTS. I have seen a few threads that people had problems getting their figures on time but other than that it seems pretty safe for transferring money and making purchases on the internet. I have made a few purchases and not had issues.

having a bank account is the best way to do it. that way once your payment is sent to you, you can either leave the money and buy stuff with the money you made in your account or you can transfer it into you bank account and pull the money out at the bank or however you want. it is very safe and i have never had any problems. although paypal does take a small fee from you after someone pays you. lets say you sell something for around 70.00 dollars, they will take abywhere from 3-4.00 from you. nothing majour but thats how they make money.
