Are you talking about professional bigger scale gas or electric?I would just google to find a local hobby shop nearby. For a smaller scale I used to collect X-Mods those were fun, inexpensive and customizable.Great for indoor drift racing.Just look them up on youtube and you will see.I plan on getting an SUV X-Mod and paint it Olive Green and put some G.I. Joe stickers on it

im talking about nitro gas, are they the bigger scale 1/10? i was looking at some on Nitro RC Cars , RC Drift Cars , Nitro RC Trucks , Nitro RC Buggy , Nitro RC Boats , RC Helicopters , RC Airplanes , RC Jets, my local hobby shop is way overpriced compared to the prices on this place. i was just wondering what i need to look for as far as a good car. i understand i am going to have to buy extra parts to make it more durable and stuff like that but i dont want to pay to much. i was looking to spend about 200-300 dollars on one. seems like this web site is right in my price range.
those x-mods look sweet though, where can you buy them and what do they cost? |

Unfortunately they cancelled the line. They were popular for awhile a couple years back. They were sold through Radioshack and had a great licensing line with the cars they offered. You can basically customize them with body kits, side skirt, bumpers, underglow lights, decals, etc.You can get a variety of tires, wheels, different speed motors, bearings, really fun!! if you like to build.I had a Skyline,Mustang,RSX and the Transformers Camaro and Police Mustang

I did it with my HPI Electric Rally I have. I modded the crap out of it for doing it, but that was before they came out with the "Drift cars". I've been drifting real cars for over 10 years... hahaha
I have an old HPI Nitro gas car I want to get rid of if your interested. Oh yeah, any that say that Nitro is better then Electric is on crack. I worked at a hobby shop for 6 1/2 years. They are just as good. Mine did about 40 MPH with little work and run times are insaine now... over 30min.... Mind you, I've not messed with my car for 3 years... lol

Just to throw it out there, I have two Tamiya electric off-road buggies I'm selling. Their both brand new and never run, I just buy the kits and build them and give to my nephew but he's not interested in r/c anymore.
