Well I have gone 5 days (as of midnite tonight out here in california) without smoking. I had been a smoker pretty consistantly for the last 15 years and decided that when I couldn't even ride my bike to the end of my street without wheezing like I was gonna hack up a lung it was time to 86' the smokes. And i feel much better since i have stopped (thank god for those root beer barrel hard candies is all I gotta say) and now i can make it all the way to the park near my home without wheezing. :> Not really Joe related I know but I just feel better since I have quit. And I have more money for Joes yay!!! :> Now I just need money lol :>

Congrats! I was smoking half a pack a day since I was 17 (I turned 29 this year) and for the past 5 years or so it's been nothing but Cloves (I've been told they're harsher) anyway, my last smoke was on Feb. 13th of this year. I've found I can now breathe through both nostrils and get to smell things better (Not always a good thing though )

Congrats man I hope you stay off them for good. I am somewhat inspired to stop smoking myself but with one in hand now I know how hard it is. Good luck to you.

So far Im maintaining and its been a lil rough at moments. I try not to think about it much. I watch a lotta TV and DVDs (my Megas XLR DVDS and old Sledgehammer DVDS) and i been sucking on root beer barrell hard candies. And Playing Mass effect, Orange Box and Oblivion :> Thanks for all the support Guys. And for those struggling with or thinking of quitting best of luck to you as well and try root beer barrells or maybe butterscotch hard candy. It helps keep your mouth busy instead of having a smoke :>
