I just picked up a bunch of single packs and was wondering what everyone uses them for. Do you customize them? Are they good troop builders? I bought because I have seen them for years for $2 and just found out that once they are gone they are gone so I bought one each of everything I could find.

Customs, customs, customs! And troop building too. I remember hitting Family Dollar/Dollar General hard for the Sand-Vipers, Night Creepers and ESPECIALLY the Televipers! For customs, I normally use the weapons and accessories. A lot of the heads work well for 25th customs, all you need to do is do some careful dremeling...
And on another note, they're good for Battle Points towards Docs too! I managed to save all my cardbacks and went through my collection to realize I had over 300! Man, I love the 25th line, but I miss being able to get new Joes for $2 a pop. I know it's just not economical for them, but I wish Hasbro would keep releasing VvV for the dollar stores. |

There were actually a few really cool SC releases:
Red B.A.T. Red Alley Viper Tele-Viper Black/Gold/Red Sand Viper Ace helmet/body for insta-airforce (just add new head!). |

In all honesty that figure is so flexible that even with a shaolin monk inspired uniform and loin cloth, you can tell he is still a ninja. Those hookswords surprisingly ruled too. Do you have at least one VVV O-ring Storm Shadow? Its teh sex! |

VVV figures are also excellent for vehicles and for playing with. Highly durable figures, and nearly all of them are compatible with RAH vehicles. They fit like a charm in the DTC vehicles. I even shoved VVV Storm Shadow's ninja lightning into the side of my RHINO and it fits!
The later waves were certainly a sign of things to come in the 25th Anniversary line(great sculpts, hidden shoulder ball joints, swivel wrists, et al). |
