mine isn't really a line... but I quit collecting in 87 and started again around 93 when $.99 clearance and Toy store closings (kiddie city, Children's palace, Kay Bee, Toy warehouse) started to happen. So for some reason I really enjoy finding stuff from 88-90. Holding some of those vehicles (avalanche, rolling thunder, thunderclap, bugg, hammerhead) is really awesome. And the figures from that era are underrated for sure

I love everything from 83’-87’. 84’ is my favorite ‘year’(line); they came out with some awesome stuff, Zartan, Storm Shadow, Baroness, Wild Weasel and Firefly. The Joe team became more diverse (Recondo, Roadblock, Blowtorch, Mutt & Junkyard, Rip-Cord, Spirit, Duke, Thunder, Deep Six, Cutter). I love the Killer Whale and Shark, Water Moccasin, the swamp battles and diving equipment added a lot to imagination.

82/83-86 Line...I grew up on that line, and it's the first I think of, when it comes to the Vehicle Line...

Agreed. I got into Joes around '89 and started getting my own stuff around '90 so I loved a lot of stuff the '88-92 with a few random things after that.

Adventure team for me. 1970-1975 were great years for GI Joe.

I got my first Joes in '86 and loved them up until '92 when they stopped getting individual accessories, and went spring loaded. So I think '83-'91 are the best. My favorite sub team is Slaughters Marauders, those boys rock.
