My vintage figures are put away because I prefer the new ones.
My vehicles go on rotating display in my old bedroom. I have a few things on display in my grandfather's vacant store. I can't wait untill I can bring that display case home. Many of my vintage figures and vehicles have been traded to get 25th stuff, or vintage things that I wanted more than the ones that I had. I do play with them occasionaly, but not on the scale that I used to when I was a kid.

my collection is still scattered in my parent's attic. I need to get those boxes down and figure out what to do with them next.

Mine are all in Rubbermaid tubs. They used to get pulled out almost every day, but since my 25th collection is large enough for the big battles, the ARAH don't see much action.
I hate to say it, but they look just awful next to the newer figures. It is one thing to play with just the old O-ringers, but when you mix and match with the ME guys it just doesn't work. I already sold off most of the ARAH stuff i don't care for, the rest will likely just come out every now and then for "nostalgia parties". |

Most of the new figures don't fit in the vehicles so that's what my vintage are there for.

Got rid of the majority of vintage, 20+ years of storage wasn't good for it. The bad thing is now I've replaced a lot of the old figs with 25th Anniversary & RoC versions.
I still have a few vintage vehicles left if anyone needs a few (PM me). |

Probably about 80-90 percent of the stuff on display is vintage. I think it's much cooler to have the vintage stuff displayed rather than new, easily obtainable stuff. Not that it's particularly hard to get the vintage stuff (well, some of it is) but in the condition I have it in, it's not easy. I have a couple shelves devoted to the new stuff too, and there's a bit of mixing going on. It's all GI Joe to me.

My vintage figs are all from my childhood and pretty beat up. They wouldn't display well so I keep them packed away. I look at pics of other tankers vintage figs to remind me what they look like.

I display 25th figures with vintage vehicles. I love my BnB Sgt. Slaughter with the Triple T!
