This sounds like the same debate I had wit a fellow hisstanker on weather a figure is 100% complete wit or without a file card.
Well in both cases I believe a vehicle is 100% complete without a driver as is a figure is 100% complete without a file card!
Also how come a vehicle isn't complete without the blue prints then??

The driver really isn't part of the vehicle in my opinion. It just depends on the seller I guess. I would say 100% complete w/driver if it included driver. Just like on figures I'd say 100% w/filecard. That's just me though. But, I can see the argument from both sides.

100% complete doesn't mean the same thing to everyone. Even when buying figures.
Some think it means with filecard, some think it means it's okay to not have the filecard.
If you want to be literal, then 100% complete vehicle would mean the box it came in, the trees the pieces came on, the figure (if any), all the accessories, blueprints and the vehicle. (okay, could still call it 100% if didn't have the trees).
But how often are you going to get the box?
Also, if you sell the vehicle without driver, you get 2 sales.

I would also say that 100% complete means vehic w/ driver but not necessarily fig w/ filecard. I only base this on accessories that are inside the original box before being opened(driver being an accessory to the vehicle; weapons, etc to the figure). This is my own personal opinion though.
That being said, if I were to sell something anywhere I would post accurate info about the product ex1: vehicle w/o driver no filecard, ex2: figure with all accessories no file card, ex3: vehicle 100% complete comes w/ driver and all accessories NOTE: if you want the filecard as well please ask for it.

I was getting frustrated with this very thing looking for a Rhino for my son. Every auction said 100% complete, but when I asked about Heavy Metal (or whatever his name is now), 90% said that they weren't selling him.

Even if you have to go the route of buying the figure and vehicle seperate (costs, difficulty in finding the complete "set", etc...), that vehicle is not 100% without the figure.

I agree 100% is a qualifier. If you are selling the vehicle without including the driver who came with the vehicle...not a replacement figure then you are just selling the vehicle.
I bought a Ghoststirker last year..the ad was 100% in box....well when I received it the seller had removed Ace from the box. Not a biggie for me since I had picked up that version of Ace at the con that year, but still the jet, the box, and blueprints come but not Ace...WTF!?!? How is this 100% in box?
It is very simple, do not say 100% complete if you do not include all the toy portion of the product....I am fine not getting the box/filecard/blueprints...because usually they will say they are including those in the ad or description.
Likewise if a figure is sold don't say 100% if you're missing the gun, flashlight, backpack, etc.

Should have asked what is included (blueprint, filecard, driver, parts).
It's a pain, yes.... but better to know what you are buying.
Also ask for a picture.
This is the same as when the seller puts "mint and clean"... you get it and it's a POS.

I just never use the term 100% in auctions at all. If it's a loose figure with all his accessories, I label it as complete and if it comes with the filecard I label it complete with filecard. Same goes for the vehicle. Complete and complete with driver. Usually I list a bunch of stuff at the same time so the precendent from auction to auction is there. Plus with pictures available in an auction, it's hard to really go wrong if you see a complete vehicle listed and there's no driver in the picture.

i think if its listed in the discription if it has the driver or not that should be good enough. i list vehicles complete without the driver. if they have them i list them complete with driver or at the least mention if it has it or not in the discription. personally i think that is the norm.
Maybe im just wierd :(
