I didn't really feel like they belonged in Gi Joe ,i guess the toy designers thought this concept would be a hit ,but after reading Mark Bellomo's guidebook and finding out the parts didn't interlock together ,i was shocked to hear this ,i have to agree with CTG links the stuff looked CHEAP ,very flimsy at best .
The figures are not really on high demand with collectors ,with mint loose ones going for no more than $10.00 ? |

Wow.......... never saw it together. What an ugly looking toy. Now I know why I did not recall that as a child.

i remember reading gijoe when it was with marvel comics and in the letter box larry hama want to see what people wanted with the comics, so some kid said to kill off the BF2000, and that's what lead to the death of BF2000, the only one was dodger who lived, that down fall and later came in to play with sonic force, I'm sure there were more to it like how the seals were, ect....

>>>>>>>>> Look in Mark's book there is a photo of them all put together ..it looks really stupid honestly ,because all of the defenses are concentrated in one area in the "front" ,leaving the rear with no protection or firepower totally exposed to the enemy ..very stupid design . |

i think that right there is the kicker....the figures were cool (my faves being Blaster, Avalanche (the tall dude in the arctic uniform) and dodger. The vehcile too where cool and i think of they had made some kinda interlocking base instead of just seting parts next to one another it might been a bit better.

oh man i found these , well a few this weekend in the attic. the figures themselves were in great condition, but not sure complete. i remember getting these in a 2 pack, an i believe i really had no interest in these. it may be due to the fact i was getting out of toys, or they just weren't appealing.. not really sure, possibly both..

They were really unpopular w/ mostly the peeps who started out w/ Joe in '82-'85 including me. The later kids seem to like it. I remember they were all destroyed and killed in one issue. lol Later on I got some Funskool versions of Blaster, Blocker, Dodger and Avalanche which are pretty interesting.
