I have both the first and second editions of this book, and love them both. I'm really curious to know if Mr. Bellomo will be doing a third edition which incorporates the 25th Anniversary toys as well as the Rise of Cobra stuff. Those would be a great addition to a third edition, if not their own stand alone guides.
On an off topic, I'd also be extatic if Mr. Bellomo were to put together a He-Man and the Masters of the Universe guide. |

Look out with what you're asking for!
Mr. Bellomo is a visitor of these forums too! |

I think he means be on the look out because Bellomo is on these forums and may be doing just what you are asking.
I think from the Flophouse documentary he is going to work on an general 80s book which will include MOTU and other poplular 80s toy lines. I think he is also working on a 2nd edition Transformers book as well IIRC. |

He had said here there wasn't enough of a market for there to be a seperate book covering the "modern" Joes, but to add 97-today to the book would be great. But I think then it would be way too many pages.
Hopefully he covers these years because his books are very good, even though I really don't feel like there was enough new stuff to warrant a 2nd edition (other than the better vehicle pics, I guess). And no index. :( The books by Ron Conner and Derek Anderson are pretty cool and cover up to 2006, though. |

I really do not understand the purpose of the 2nd Edition. Sure, the new photos are fantastic, and I loved how the figures were getting bigger images, but were is the key word, as it seems like he started to cram as many figures onto the pages for the last few years as possible as if he ran out of page space. The pics are even smaller than the 1st Ed version for those last few years. Also, I like the introduction images shown better in the 1st Ed, along with the index, which is missing.
On the other hand, I would really love it if he did a 95-2006 book, this way he can then do years from now a 2007-whatever book that would start off with the anniversary figures.
