This guy knows damn well I sent this to AFA and that they rejected it because it's not factory sealed.
https://www.ebay.com/itm/Hasbro-1985...f/353116928235 I'll have to add him to my list of people that suck. This was such a fiasco.

You can tell it's been unsealed by the tape residue. Maybe I should offer him half.

Quite obvious in person but not from the listing photos. Plus he only just now added the last two pics showing the DT more clearly. Typical fraudulent ebay seller. They know what's going on but just play dumb when you confront them. If I was an ass I'd leave him a negative feedback for this purchase explaining what's going on to other buyers but 1,I doubt anyone would see it or at least in time & 2, I don't like leaving negatives

Yes the guy does seem a bit shady. After i saw Brendan return the item i asked him about it to get more info on its origin and see if he might want to do a fair deal with me, but he was more interested in finding out how I found out about it. I just told him that it is collectors’ here say but he kept pressing in a very annoying way. He did tell me that the item was most likely kept in a non-controlled temperature environment so honestly it is anyone’s guess if the contents are still good. The gearbox may very well not work inside.

It's double taped with the bottom layer being cut.

I for one read ALL negative FB. The collecting community deserves a warning. |

I never do myself unless I feel its justified, and I do here. For example, just last week I had a seller that was exceptionally rude, but he delivered with the quickness and was spot on in his description, so I let it go... Plus there was an interesting development that deserves a thread on it's own. But I digress.
Leave that neg if he's trying to scam people. I for one read ALL negative FB. The collecting community deserves a warning. Doubtful anyone will see it but maybe. Plus I'm guessing that's why all his sales are private so people can't investigate items thru feedback.

I just noticed the guy had my neutral feedback removed on the mauler. That pisses me of ebay was even willing to do that as it was totally justified. I think I'll call them & ask what the hell

That's really uncommon. Did you use profanity or anything to that effect?

Interesting hearing this talk of neutral feedback. I actually got my first neutral feedback in 20 yrs recently. I sold a TMNT Lootcrate minus the figure... Shipped extremely promptly and he said "good buy"... I even asked him why he left a neutral feedback and he said he didn't like the condition the box was in. SMH. It's not like a vintage Joe vehicle, it was an incomplete Lootcrate and came as pictured!

Its actually not. I have had this happen twice in the last year. The 1st one I just let go because the seller did refund me before the not as describe case was closed. I still felt the neutral feedback was warranted. The 2nd time I left negative feedback and ebay pulled it dispite the fact that I had clear evidence that the seller was trying to pull a scam. When I calledto complain I was told by ebay that the negative feedback was not warranted because I ultimately received a refund and this could have been a honest mistake. Which is absolute bullshit. That one pissed me off as I lost the case originally and I had to really work to get evidence that could have put a fiends postal Job at risk.
