Would you buy this for the cost it went? I was watching it on ebay just to see where it went. What bothered me was for a MISB night ray the selller said “you can hear a lot of plastic rattling in box.” That seems like a huge red flag.

I don't buy vehicles, so no.
If I did buy vehicles, that wouldn't be one that would entice me to spend money, especially that much money, because I didn't have it as a kid and it doesn't mean anywhere near as much to me as the original Moray. |

I had this, but I wouldn't buy a sealed one just cause I didn't like the bright orange parts. When I had mine, I swapped all those parts with the regular Moray parts.

That’s way too much!
I agree with Nighthawk, the yellow parts look good with the black. I’d prefer to just spray paint a Moray Shell black.

I was watching that Night Ray too. I think it's an awesome vehicle but I can't justify spending that much money on it. Even if it is MISB, it's still 32 years old so I would worry about the durability of it. And I'm not a MISB, AFA graded collector, so I would want to open it.

In my opinion those missiles are not “bright yellow” or comparable to “bright orange”. I guess to clarify my opinion for you, yes, I like the idea of using original Cobra Moray Parts on a Moray spray painted black and having Toyhax Stickers for the Night Ray applied. That sounds pretty slick to me. I’m probably going to do a custom one. To each his own I guess! I’m actually in the process of spraying a Moray right now to make a custom Tiger Ray (Tiger Force Club Exclusive) because the real thing is so expensive.

I forgot the Moray missiles were yellow. When I did have the Night Ray, I bought one that was basically the shell and completed it out with Moray parts. I think I never bothered with those missiles as I displayed it with the missile launcher closed.

He said that he swapped out the regular Moray parts which I assume includes the yellow missiles.
