This was at $1100 or so until I placed a max bid of $3200 just now. The other guy must want this pretty bad. Meaning I'm still outbid.
I had one already graded that I only paid $1200 for but traded for some other vehicles. I doubt I'm going any higher on this one. Hell at this price I wouldn't want to even open it & enjoy so what's the point? $3200 for an ungraded Mauler! Jesus https://www.ebay.com/itm/Hasbro-1985...f/353085215316

For $3200 I'd feel stupid for opening this. The other guy can have it.

Nah, I wasn't thinking it would go that high at all. I thought maybe possibly 2 grand. But when I entered 3200 & was still outbid I couldn't believe it. The auction dosent even end until tomorrow afternoon. I'm dumb at times with purchases & what I pay but I'm not retarded. At least when I spend a hefty sum I always open them and play with them because yep you guessed it-these are toys.

I was watching this as well and tempted to bid into the $1.5k range. Double that? Madness!

These prices are insane, but I am glad that G.I. Joe is so desirable. But if these are the kind of prices out there, based on our collections we are millionaires. Never could I have imagined in 1983 that these toys were going to be so valuable.

Folks are paying for quality and rarity. A sealed Mauler is rare enough. One in a nice box prime for grading is highly coveted.
Sadly there are several sealed vehicles I'm after and I know I'll have to pay handsomely for them in decent condition. Gotta love the interest in the brand! |
