I have come to a point when I realize that my collection simply lives in boxes in storage. I've attempted to sell some items on eBay but just don't want to spend that much time on it. So I've decided to donate my collection to someone that would appreciate it. If you are near Reno, NV and would like to increase your collection, please reach out to me.
My collection is my own and started with my original figures in 82. I have since collected hundreds of loose and original in package figures and vehicles. You wont be disappointed if you are the one who makes this $0 deal. Last edited by Leon89; 08-21-2020 at 12:46 PM.. |

Too bad you aren't on the other side of the country. I know a 6 y/o boy who has mentally cataloged my collection and has issues getting dressed in the morning because he wants to play with my small collection.

In SoCal so not exactly close, but I'd pay a whole bunch in shipping if you'd happen to have an in-package Outback or Bazooka. I know this isn't in line with your request, but I thought I'd give a shot.

Hey there!
Are you interested to sell it to me? The bad news: i am in Brazil, so you would have to ship it (cost on me, of course). Please, PM me! Thanks! |

If you have a local family shelter, maybe think about giving it to them. Or a Salvation Army or other charity that sells via a storefront or ebay. That's what I'm doing. It makes me happy to know my toys will bring some joy while being played with (in the 1st case) or at least sold to support a good cause or two.

I am asking my best friend if he will swing by and grab it for me. If it had been last week, I would have run over myself. If you can wait until Labor Day weekend, I can probably do it.

Guys dont take this dudes collection. He might regret it later and its wrong for anyone to take what this guy has been getting for a long time. Dont do it without giving him something for it.

You wont be disappointed if you are the one who makes this $0 deal. That's amazing that you've been collecting since 1982. I think I can speak for everyone here when I say WE WANT TO KNOW your stories about G.I.Joe! How did you first get into G.I.Joe? Who are your favorite figures and vehicles? What are your favorite comic book issues and cartoon episodes? Do you ever set up dioramas or do customs? (Man there is a whole bunch of great custom work on here.) I know how you feel about not wanting to just keep a collection in storage. Have you thought about reducing your collection maybe down to just all your figures and your favorite vehicles/bases? Some of the members have pretty awesome display set ups. I just purchased some from Ikea that I am getting set up this weekend. You know I think a couple of other fellow members had some pretty cool ideas regarding your collection. I think it's a super generous idea to want to donate your collection. And if you do, that's amazing! But also know that I am sure a lot of us here would be interested in compensating you for your collection too. (And you could still donate portions of the proceeds to your favorite charities or causes.) I am really interested in seeing/hearing about your collection. I live in Phoenix and the thought of a road trip to Reno for G.I. Joe sounds cool! Quote:
