So, if you haven't noticed, a new batch of Black Major Storm Shadows are for sale on eBay again. For those who don't know, a few years ago the classic 1984 white Black Major version showed up online in large numbers and could be purchased for as little as $12 shipped. It was easily available for a few months, but then they all dried up. The price then skyrocketed to $40-$60+, the price for the Black Major version rose above the actual vintage version in some instances. Well, if you missed out back then, now is your chance. $18 shipped is a steal. These will sell out (the white version, maybe not the goofy neon versions), and there is a good chance the price will spike in the not so far off future. Here are the 2 that I picked up. Unfortunately, the Ninja-Ku version has already sold out. The head on the white version is slightly (very slightly) off-white (but not yellow at all).

I bought a black Storm Shadow on a custom card (1984 Storm Shadow art but he was colored black) about a year ago. Not sure if it was a Black Major or not, but it's very nice. I put it in an acrylic case.

I bought 2 of the Black SE v2 last year. They are great! The plastic is a bit like model plastic, but that is the only complaint I might have. Other than that, they are pretty much purrrrrfect.

I still go back and forth on the black major stuff - I love that the molds are being kept alive and there are some amazing designs out there. The Snow Serpent, Alley Viper and Night Viper figures all look amazing though. How would the quality compare to the ARAH figures that came out in the 2000s? Or the Operation Flaming MOTH figures in terms of quality? Im assuming the plastic is not as rubbery as the ARAH figures released in the early-mid 2000s.
