Hi all, my first post here.
I have a reasonably sized collection of out of the box/used but generally good to very good condition G.I. Joes from 1982/84. I’ve done some research and know that some are relatively valuable (1982 Snake Eyes and 82-83 Cobra Commander in very good shape with all accessories, for example). I’d like to sell and am wondering if you had any advice were you in my shoes. I don’t think I’m interested in the work of selling one a time, although I realize this is probably the way to maximize return. Would take somewhat less for removal of that hassle. But hoping to get your input on platform to sell on, grouping or lot strategies, etc. I appreciate it. |

Sell the expensive and rare ones separately and the common ones in lots if you don’t want the hassle of selling everything separately.

Ebay is pretty well your only platform to guarantee a quick safe sale, though like anything else has some notable downsides. Welcome, and good luck! |

This. I also had better luck organizing the less sought after figures' accessories as complete sets, and the respective figures in lots of ten and selling them separately, which was a bit of work, but ended up netting a 50%ish greater return. Now is also an excellent period to sell, as the prices have skyrocketed.

What I would do, and this may not be for you, but I will set them up all on auction. Just like the others said separate the more rare and expensive ones and sell those separately. But like I said I will put them on auction and let the buyers fight over them. Then the incomplete and not so rare figures put to them together in a lot of, maybe 5 each? But again I've always had the best and guaranteed sales if I put them as an auction. But that's just me.
