WORD!! Star Wars was the worst for intruding on Joe games! My cousin was always attempting to incorporate his stupid Star Wars men into playing Joes.

the thing that bothered me was that when i played joes with a friend, we would have a great distance between us and when he sent over a spy, he would litterally bring the spy to my side within a second and I would tell him he would have to trek his spy just like anybody else, across the battlefield. he then said "but youll see me!" I would then say "I would see you on the battlefield in real like as well!"

I hated the if you don't let me play with (?) I'm not going to play act. I think I finally just learned to play alone because of it. He was always saving his money so he didn't by as much stuff as I did so he always wanted to play with my newest figures.

Twisting the O-ring torso joint so the figures would spin punch like a propeller. My friend broke my 84 firefly that way and I FLIPPED MY LID on him!

EDITED
Friends, nothing of any major consequence. My cousin, though, was a different story. One of my cousins occasionally tried to get me away from the battles, but was always at the most crucial part. I gather being the only girl in the house was tough...felt bad for her. Looking back at it now, breaking and losing of the figs would have had longer lasting annoyance scars. Last edited by M. I stopped playing with other friends pretty early. Not only they would not take care of their own toys as I did (let's bury them in the sand! WHAT!?!?), but they would always come to my house shorthanded, so I had to let them use my vehicles. I was very, VERY jealous of my toys. Also, I hated when they couldn't follow the story line I was developing for the adventure. You can't kill all the cobras! There's supposed to be one left to warn Cobra Commander that we found their base! BECAUSE they will retaliate! BECAUSE THE MISSILE PLANS WERE THERE!!! THE MISSILE THEY'RE BUILDING TO DESTROY THE CITY!!!!

I never took my vehicles outside to get dirty, never mishandled things, and was more or less a really anal-retentive child. When I was done playing, I would systematically put them all away. But, a lot of times I would leave my toys out "paused" until I got to them the next day.

When I was a kid, I always made sure to take of my friends' stuff. I did run my battles more along the lines of "Rule of Cool" though. So what annoyed me was when someone would want to play nothing but "canon" battles. I remember having Sonic the Hedgehog team up with The Thing to take on a huge combining mecha made out of Legos that was attacking the Millenium Falcon. Of course, I also liked to have explanations for everything, so trans-dimensional warp gates was my buzzword of choice. What annoyed me playing with my sister when I was a kid was that she'd always want the characters to go have picnics or go to the fair or something and I always wanted them to fight robots or solve mysteries :p Somehow, we managed to intertwine the two...

Most of us learned that lesson at some time or another during adolescence...
