I now That Cobra haze a lot of army builders.
And that it gets bigger do to customs.
Like the black major customs and red laser customs.
But the joe's only have the steel brigade and green shirts.

Green shirts are normal soldiers
Steel brigade are top elite.

Gi joe have nothing like commando soldiers.
Or top infantry soldiers.

Or am i mistaken

Given that each Joe should be able to take down a whole platoon of Cobra soldiers/Vipers, it is fine that there are not many Joe Army builders.

And why are the steel brigade anonymous.
And the green shirts are not.

If i army build the green shirts and have 25, it looks funny and it looks like a clone army.

Why arent the green shirts anonymous as wel.

The green shirts are anonymous. You don't know any of their names. The Joes also have the Retaliation Troopers.

The Steel Brigade were faceless, so that any little boy could see themselves as one.

I used to have the 6 pack Greentshirts from toysrus that came out in 2005. They didnt look all the same. some of the figures were different from what I remember

i personally always liked that the Joes weren't made up of generic troops, lends the "good guys" a ton of personality, which makes them more sympathetic, while the "bad guys" are made up of a horde of nameless, faceless minions motivated by greed.

but if yo need to army build your joes, i'd recommend finding a few of the same body sculpts, and doing some simple head swapping.

As a kid Ihad multiples of certain Joes that I used as army builders.

I would army build Airtight for my Hostile Environment Troopers, Lifeline for my squad of Rescue Troopers, Barbeque for my Firefighting Troopers, Mainframe for my crew of Computer Specialist Troopers, Lowlight for my Night Spotter Squad, Wetsuit for my squad Underwater SEALS, and Lifticket for my group of Helicopter Pilots. There were others that I picked as well, but you get the idea.
