I've been trying to find info to sell my old "American Defense", "US Forces" and "Commando Force" figures. Having trouble ID'ing this guy.
He's definitely a REMCO mold with a 1986 date, but I'm not sure which line he's from, or of his character name. REMCO usually had cheesy names, like "Air Fighter", "Trapper John" or "Mac Tough", that I quickly ignored and forgot. I remember calling this guy "Contra", since he reminded me of the popular video game of the day. I believe he may have been a "bad guy" in REMCO's line. I can find similar molds of him, but not one with this paint job and beard. Any info would be appreciated.

I don't Remco ever made any bad guys that o-ring style, other than maybe some pirates and strange wrestlers.
He looks like a different colored version of SILENT BULLET (US FORCES name). Could be from the U.S. Military 2-packs I found him. T Crasher from American Defense! scroll down this page stuff1 Last edited by Sean_C; 01-18-2019 at 09:34 PM.. |

Looks like a young Miyagi figure from the never made The Karate Kid prequel, lol.

FWIW, I'll be listing "T Crasher" on eBay, starting at 4pm PST, tomorrow (Sunday). I remember using a lot of the REMCO guys as my stand-ins for the Oktober Guard... and then any other crazy characters I came up with.

Have two more that I'm having trouble (correctly) identifying. Please see pictures, below.
1- Brown beret guy (FWIW, I used this guy as a stand-in for "Stormavik") 2- Shirtless bow n' arrow guy. I think his name was "Silver Shot" in the US Forces line. Unsure of his American Defense name. I remember calling him "Bullseye".

The beret guy's green US FORCES version is Captain Conquer
There's a COMMANDO FORCE version, too (SEARS). And American Force (Canada?) There's also at least one Desert Storm related series. |

The beret dude is, most likely, COMMANDO FORCE. From what I've seen, I think his name is "General Commando". I'm not 100% sure, because my other COMMANDO FORCE guys had a forest green and bright yellow color scheme.
Still, I'm going to list him as "General Commando | Commando Force" and see what happens. Gotta' love that redundant (and somewhat confusing) title. "General Commando from Commando Force". Bow and arrow guy-- I'm 100% sure that his name was NOT "Bullseye". My memory tells me that he was "American Defense", but I also remembering buying some "Commando Force" guys around the same time. I never purchased a "US Forces" or "American Force" figure, so we can eliminate those two as possibilities. Even though it's the same figure with slightly different paint in each line.

Commando Force bow guy's name is Sargeant Stinger going by a MOC pic I found on pinterest. But that figure had grey pants with black camo. Not your guy. Like you say, he's likely American Defense. For some reason pics of series 2 of Remco's American Defense cardback are hard to find.
Commando Force had a weapons pack. Never knew those existed. Unless it's a custom. |

Those are 2 from the American Defense line. The one is Survival Specialist and shirtless guy is Bulls Eye. The Commando Force, General Commando is Green and Sergeant Stinger has Silver pants... the only figure that shows the list of the original American Defense line is Paraforce... shows all original 20 figures. This line is pretty rare and hard to acquire took me a while to find even Survival Specialist. Yes blue guy is T Crasher. Hard to find carded, of the single carded I only have 5.
