Yes, the few shoulder cracks I’ve seen are from the rivet outward on the back of the shoulder. I haven’t seen the separation yet that you mention. Might have had a lot to do with my climate, dry as a desert in the summer, cold as hell and wet/snowy in the winter. I know I blow through o-rings very quickly for that reason, so it makes sense in my mind.

Yes it is very true. That is why they make so many reissues of them. I don’t have any vintage TFs, but my brother does and yeah, his Swoop’s arms and beak are just completely gone, the joints super cleanly broke off leaving a nice smooth flat place where they should be.
